I think a pool complex is a better priority and the multi sport option needs to be better researched. It is neither one thing or an other.

Sadly, I think it was a serious mistake that the proposed facility got initially touted as a velodrome, and so most peoeple couldn't see the great potential of its proposed facilities.

Napier does not want a valadrome! How about using th money for housing, or addressing the pool shortage, or proper recycling facilities, or cleaning our water supply, or 100 other projects that need to be addressed. Not impressed NCC is still flogging this dead horse.

I find the council's determination to pursue this unpopular and very costly facility, particularly when they declined to get involved in a similar project some years ago, simply astounding. It is not needed and it is not wanted.
