Having put my daughter on the bus at Clive Square today I was appalled by the smokers total disregard for other users of the shelters. It was raining therefore we were all undercover, smokers puffed up a storm with no thought of the discomfort caused to those around them. Smokers could be allocated one shelter in which they are enclosed with their cancerous pollution or could walk across the road and smoke in the open - too bad if they get wet. Smokers reeking of cigarettes are unpleasant and unhealthy to sit next to. Large NO SMOKING signs should be put up, not polite requests to abstain.
